Transportation Services
After significant market research, AFTS (“The Company”) has identified a need to provide a clean, convenient and higher overall value alternative to taxis and limousines at a price point that is comparable to either.
With corporations and individuals beginning to seriously consider the global ramifications of gasoline-powered transportation combined with the slow adoption of competitive offerings, AFTS has a window of opportunity to assume a leadership position in these transportation vectors.
Our primary mission is to advance the awareness, use, development, and expansion of clean fuel vehicles in Southern California and bring super ultra low-emission (SULEV) hybrid and natural gas vehicle technology to the private sector.
This project would facilitate public outreach of low-emission technologies in the airport transportation sector as well as bring additional transportation options to companies with 250+ employees.
Launching operations in August 2007, first phase of our business model growth will be to capture mid to large sized corporate client contracts for transportation services. We will provide an environmentally focused upscale sedan and SUV-class transportation services between corporate sites and airport transport. Our second phase of growth will specifically target the entertainment and hospitality industries.
The Company will make technology, customer service and competitive pricing the cornerstone of our value proposition. The managing members bring a wealth of sales, marketing and operational experience combined with a network of corporate relationships in southern California. This will allow the Company to take a leadership position within a fragmented industry by capitalizing on the developing momentum of growing public environmental awareness.
In addition, we are actively building an ecosystem of alternative fuel business partnerships to help support all of our efforts in a cooperative manner. We are building relationships with the following:
- WestStart - CALSTART
- Toyota, BMW, GM
- Clean Energy
- Local government officials and Community Redevelopment Agencies
We are committed to facilitating the public outreach of low-emission technologies in the airport transportation sector as well as introduce super ultra low-emission (SULEV) as a viable alternative to gasoline fueled car service options for our corporate clients. AFTS will use a variety of advertising methods to increase the awareness and importance of reducing ground transportation emissions, educate its clientele and the public about the viability of clean fuels, and help improve public perception of hybrid and alternative fuel powered vehicles.
AFTS is requesting co-funding sponsorship from the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) through the Air Quality Investment Program (AQIP) in the amount of $150,000 to support the acquisition of ten (10) hybrid Toyota Prius and the acquisition/conversion of ten (10) compressed natural gas GMC Yukon and/or Chevrolet Suburban SUVs.
On-going vehicle acquisitions and conversions will be supported organically by business operations and additional funding will not be required.
Our primary sales and marketing objective is to first position our service with corporate clients based in Southern California acting as their point to point car service provider. It will be our mission to build our business model to accommodate the buying habits of these corporate buyers ranging from mid to large size companies and assist them in meeting their environmental sustainability programs and plans. Our initial routes will run between corporate sites, airports and employee homes.
Our second phase of market growth will include the hospitality industry in which we will build a customer base of influential club promoters, hotel chains and trend-setting individuals, specifically major motion picture studios, television studios, record label companies, production companies, entertainment and media agencies, management companies, and influential executives and entertainment VIPs.
With corporations and individuals beginning to seriously consider the global ramifications of gasoline-powered transportation combined with the slow start of competitors to offer the market environmentally friendly vehicles, AFTS has a window of opportunity to assume a leadership position in these transportation vectors with a late summer or early fall 2007 launch.
Limousines and private car services in general are a highly visible industry in southern California, and draw significant public attention. As such, limousines could serve as a leader in promoting the use of hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles. The SUV class of limousine service is gaining increased popularity, especially in the entertainment industry, and with younger clientele.
PTSC, Incorporated (PTSC) will act as the sole managing member of the Company and will launch operations simultaneously in the southern California market with facilities and assets located in Los Angeles and San Diego.
